Heartland Center for Jobs and Freedom Inc

The Heartland Center for Jobs and Freedom (HCJF) is a non-profit organization that enforces the legal rights of low-wage workers and supports their movements for change. We conduct Know Your Rights workshops and hold corporations accountable for abuse, we support the Fannie Lou Hamer Women’s Committee, co-sponsor the United We Stand organizing effort and conduct storytelling classes for low-wage workers. We also partner closely with Stand Up KC to develop worker leadership and support organizing on the job for equality and dignity for all.
