Throughout Hunterdon County, countless people know the YMCA as a great place to work out.  But we're not just a gym and swim.  We're so much more.

The Y is a cause dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.  For 110 years, we've been proud to help our neighbors learn, grow and thrive.  Yet we're called to do so much more.

Hunterdon County faces new challenges that create a greater need than ever for the work we do every day.  Fortunately, where some see obstacles, we see opportunities for our members, volunteers and staff to make a difference.

That's why we're launching our ambitious campaign to take on many of the greatest challenges facing our young people, our health and our communities.

What does "so much more" mean?  It means:

-- Helping young people develop self-esteem, character values and leadership qualities by providing innovative and nurturing youth programs;

--Creating communities that support healthy living by addressing chronic disease among children and adults and supporting their physical, intellectual and spiritual strength;

--Fostering strategic collaboration among community organizations and leaders to address critical issues confronting our community, so we may provide support and give back to those in need.
