Healing Place of Hampton Roads

The Healing Place of Hampton Roads is a non-profit 501(c)(3) non-medical recovery and rehabilitation facility where homeless individuals with alcohol and other drug addictions can recover and lead self-sufficient lives in permanent housing.

The Hampton Roads facility will be modeled on the validated Healing Place programs in Wake County, North Carolina and in Louisville, Kentucky, and Richmond, Virginia.

Addiction is one cause of homelessness and provides a significant barrier to self- sufficiency. Currently, homeless inebriants are directed to emergency rooms and/or the local jail resulting in high taxpayer costs, overcrowding and an unbreakable cycle of abuse and arrest.  

The Healing Place of Hampton Roads residential facility will be located in and serve clients from the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. .
