Healing the Children provides critical medical care to children around the world. Healing the Children believes in keeping the focus on what is important ; the children .  Children that would not have access to life saving medical care if it was not for Healing the Children. Ivan is a child that Healing the Children helped and saved him from a life of poverty and misery.  Ivan suffered from a life threatening and debilitating birth defect. He  was born with his bladder outside his body and had to wear diapers. He was often teased and bullied by the children in his school. Ivan loves soccer, but was not able to play with friends do his medical condition. Healing the Children was able to provide him with the surgery to correct his medical condition at no expense to his family.  Ivan can now play ball with his classmates , he is longer the target of cruel jokes and can lead a life of independence. He is only one of the many children helped by Healing the Children. There are many still waiting. Help us save children from a life of pain and misery. Healing the Children is able to provide a lot of surgical and medical services to needy children on a minimal budget, however we need to do more. There are many children that need our help.
