Please help us turn our empty room into a thriving Youth Media & Training Center, equipped with 10 computers and laptops, a projector for film screenings, film editing software, a microphone & stereo system and a wellness corner!

We are a new program under the Health and Human Resource Education Center (H.H.R.E.C.), located in Oakland, Ca. Downtown TAY is a growing team of young adults leading the way to EDUCATE. INSPIRE. ELEVATE. Transitional Age Youth, sometimes referred to as TAY, are young adults16-24 years of age who are transitioning into adulthood and are often termed as "at-risk". Downtown TAY seeks to cultivate excellence in our young adult community by supporting critical thinking, opening powers of perception in order to live with an increased awareness, and creatively having our say.
