Healthy Foods for Healthy Kids Inc

At Healthy Foods for Healthy Kids, our vision is to inspire and motivate youth to develop lifelong wholesome eating habits by experiencing the joy of growing, cooking, and eating garden fresh vegetables. Our Education Cultivation program allows every student form kindergarten-5th grade in a school of approximately 500 students to engage in in hands-on gardening activities. Growing cool weather and fast-growing crops, students are able to experience "seed to table" growing each spring and fall. Over the course of approximately two growing seasons, teachers are trained in our curriculum and are able to continue the program with support from HFHK for seasons to come. Currently, our Education Cultivation program is implemented in over 20 schools and serves over 8,000 Delware public school students per year.
