UNITED IN PURPOSE

Heart of Missouri United Way improves lives in our community. We invest in programs at nonprofit organizations in the impact areas of health and basic needs, education, and financial stability. 1 in 5 individuals in Boone, Cooper, and Howard Counties are served by programs with funding from United Way. 

UNITED IN HOPE

Donations from the CoMo Gives campaign will be used to support strategically selected education programs supporting vulnerable youth in our community. These programs are targeted at ensuring young people have equitable access to gain the knowledge, skills and credentials so they are prepared for the workforce and able to obtain family-sustaining employment. We recognize community investments are crucial from early childhood through transition to young adulthood (age 0-26). We remove educational barriers for young people and their families by investing in programs that demonstrate the following client age-appropriate outcomes.

Families and individuals in our service area face a variety of challenges and barriers regarding health and basic needs services. United Way removes these barriers through our community impact investment model, but the needs in our community are still present and increasing. Your continued support is vital to ensure essential services are provided and maintained.
