Heart of Texas Partners in Animal Welfare Services Hot-Paws

We Are Heart of Texas Partners in Animal Welfare Services (HOT-PAWS) and we are working to achieve NO-KILL status for all animal rescues and shelters in our area.  We are a 100% volunteer & foster-based 501c3 non-profit running only on donations from kind donors like you.  Since we were founded in September 2019, we have taken in 800+ puppies & dogs, transported most of them to homes across the U.S. & adopted out others locally.  

In addition to taking in strays in our community, we have been rescuing dogs from local animal shelters in the region ─ providing needed medical care & vetting (spay/neuter, shots, worming, flea control, heartworm test & prevention). Some of these dogs are long-term residents of shelters and many are candidates for euthanasia. Some are newly rescued victims of a hoarding or fighting situation. We save their lives & help find them homes.

This is what it costs to save ONE dog:
$150 Covers transportation cost for one dog
$125 Spay/Rabies for one dog
$100 Neuter/Rabies for one dog
$75 Shots and wormer for one dog
$50 HW test and preventative for one dog
$25 Food for one dog for one month
$10 Flea prevention for one dog

We’ve then been able to get these dogs on transports to No-Kill shelters in areas of the country where people are looking to adopt them in places like: Washington State, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Illinois & Kansas!  Your generous donation helps us get more dogs to their forever homes.
