Heartland Cancer Foundation

Heartland Cancer Foundation assists cancer patients with prescription cancer and supportive medications, and the gas money needed to go to and from cancer-related appointments and treatments.

The financial burden of cancer is devasting to many families. One of the first concerns when someone is told they have cancer is how am I going to pay for this? The cost of care isn't the only finacial stress. Patients and caregivers lose income due to the time away from work or even lose their jobs completely. We want to help patients as much as possible so they can focus on recovery.

The Heartland Cancer Foundation, formerly the Southeast Nebraska Cancer Foundation, is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

To be eligible you must be receiving cancer treatment, 250% of poverty level and live in one of the following counties-

Nebraska: Boone, Butler, Cass, Fillmore, Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Lancaster, Nemaha, Otoe, Polk, Pawnee, Richardson, Saline, Saunders, Seward, Thayer and York

Kansas: Brown, Marshall, Nemaha, Republic and Washington
