Hearts That Care Volunteer Health Clinic started in 1998 as the Great Plains Volunteer Clinic by visionary Dr. Wendy Bartanen. 
Dr. Bartanen passionately believed that health care was a right and should be accessible to all. 

Now 26 years later, Hearts That Care continues to serve the community by providing 
free, high-quality dental, eye, and medical care to underinsured and uninsured low-income adults
