Hearts That Care Volunteer Health Clinic started in 1998 as the Great Plains Volunteer Clinic by visionary Dr. Wendy Bartanen. Dr. Bartanen passionately believed that health care was a right and should be accessible to all. 

Now 25 years later, we continue to serve the community through the mission of providing basic health care, medications and preventive health information to those without insurance who do not have access to physicians and clinics in southwestern Oklahoma.

Your gift will support the following clinics and services:
 1. Medical Clinics
Testing and treatment for chronic conditions such as
Asthma Treatment
Diabetes management
Hepatitis C
High Blood Pressure Management

Treatment of minor conditions such as:
Cold & Flu
Ear Infections
Strep throat

2. Speciality Clinics -
Care for Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis or other autoimmune disorders
Diagnosis & Lab Work

3. Dental Clinics - 
Screenings & X-Rays
Restorative Services
Simple & Surgical Tooth Extractions

4. Full Service Onsite Pharmacy -
Fill and pick up medications

5. Prescription Assistance Program
Monthly Vouchers to assist with prescription co-pay costs at local pharmacies
