Heatsync Labs

HeatSync Labs is a community driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and workspace where "Young Makers" come to design, create, invent and collaborate. Part of our mission is to support after school programs for middle school amd high school students that engage, excite and educate them in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math. HeatSync Labs does this via a broad range of workshops and activities, as well as our year round bi-monthly "Young Makers" meetings.

With your generous donations, we intend to purchase robotics equipment, hardware and software. These materials will be used as part of a robotics project that will allow middle school and high school students to design and build robots in order to participate in VEX Robotics competitions where engineering challenges are presented in the form of a competitive game.

In this program, young makers are given opportunities to engage in practical learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math as it pertains to robotics design, construction and programming.  Students are able to  design and build robots and then have many opportunities to use their custom built robots in VEX competitions and scrimmages. 

Students continue to increase their knowledge in STEM areas, while also learning valuable life skills such as how to try, fail, learn, redesign, rebuild, fail again, troubleshoot, problem solve, redesign (again!), rebuild and succeed in a positive, team-centered, collborative environment.
