Heavens Light House

Heavens Light House started in 2013 with a dream of having a place where kids and families could come and find rest and peace. What looked impossible became a reality as our home became a beacon of light for those who needed a place of healing and refuge. We have continued to expand into York city with our school supply giveaways and other ways of reaching out to groups of children and their families. Our dream includes a farm where our Easter and fall outreaches can be expanded. Along with this part of the dream we want HLH to continue to grow in ministry in the cities around us. We desire to have funds available to help those that come to us with physical needs, as well as ministering to their whole situation and seeing them transformed by God's love through us. 

Who We Are

Heavens Light House is a holistic ministry started in 2013 by the Lindsay family. HLH is a place where anyone can come to share stories, receive love and encouragement with no judgement and find a peaceful place of refuge and retreat. Heavens Light House also has a community of volunteers that give generously of their time and donations to give away school supplies, Christmas gifts and participate in other outreach events in the spring and fall. We seek to share the generosity of God with children and their families as we go into schools and other venues. A food pantry along with furniture and clothing are available. As a holistic ministry we seek to meet every need whether it is physical, spiritual or emotional. From a meal, to financial assistance to a friendly face or a cup of coffee our door is open! Our dream includes a farm where we have a larger area to expand our ministry.
