Our Project:

We have formed 2018 Team HUM to raise desperately needed funding and awareness for this spiritual recovery program that serves over 500 men and women. These men and women are transforming their lives to be the better fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, sons and daughters that they know they can be. Help us and help them by joining 2018 Team HUM and their efforts.

Thank You and May God Bless!

Our Mission:

Established in Baltimore in 1885, Helping Up Mission provides hope to the poor and homeless. We do this through programs designed to meet their individual physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.  We serve over 500 men and women each day, 180,000 nights of lodging and 459,000 meals each year.

Primary Programs are:

1. Overnight Guest Services for those without food and shelter.

2. Residential Spiritual Recovery Program for men breaking grip of addiction from alcohol and drugs - providing full services for spiritual, medical, emotional, educational, and vocational restoration.

3. Graduate Transitional Housing for SRP graduates who want to stay connected to the therapeutic community.

4. Professional Intern Program for men training for career opportunities inside and outside the Mission.

Through these programs, men have a real chance to transform their lives and experience the abundant life they were created for.  Lives are restored, families are restored, careers are restored.
