Henry M Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine

The Fund for Soldier and World Health is dedicated to two purposes:

●      Supporting and extending the innovative research and development conducted at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR)

●      Joining with new partners in both the fight against diseases that afflict soldiers and civilians in zones of conflict and across places of peace and stability, as well as addressing the mental health challenges posed by the spectrum of conflict that defines global military operations and the stress and trauma affecting both military and civilian populations.

 

The fund supports research in infectious diseases, psychiatry and neuroscience, while providing education and outreach to students interested in pursuing a career in science.

 

The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and the Fund for Soldier and World Health are working to create lasting medical solutions for the future, keeping soldiers on point for the United States and the world. The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. manages the fund.
