Herd by a Horse

A little over three years ago, my father passed away. At his memorial I recalled what he said to me frequently, "do what you love and love what you do". At the time I was traveling much of the time, and was spending little precious time with our adopted daughter from China, who had been home a few short months.

I decided to combine my two loves working with an adolescent and adult population and horses. I became trained in Equine Assited Therapy, and set out to start my own business to better dictate my schdeule and be a stay at home dad. 

My business, Herd By A Horse has taken off. We have been busy providing services to adolescents and their families on topics such as communication, parenting, recovery, trauma, couples communication etc. 

We have since offered professional trainings on ethics, trauma and spirituality- "Sacred Encounters".

We have a beautitfull space to provide services, yet we are in need of some additional horses and staff to expand our services to more youth and adults. 

Some of the items in need are:

AED units  for emergency (2) Estimated cost - $3.500.00

Additonal staff to provide a "Bullying at the Barn" program in the schools. Estimated cost-         $5.000.00 per year

Additional horses to expand services (3). Estimated cost-                                       $ 25.000.00 per year
