Heritage League

The Holiday of Trees is the Heritage League's annual fundraiser, held the Thursday and Friday after Thanksgiving. The event features a bakery, coffee house, attic treasures, and a visit from Santa.  In 2015, the ticket sale proceeds of $5000 was presented to Fresh Start.  The ticket sale recipient from the 2016 Holiday of Trees will be the Clinic with a Heart.

Annual educational donations include a scholarship at SECC for a woman returning to the job force, two band camp scholarships for middle school musicians, and a day visiting the Legislature for one sophomore from each public and private school in Lincoln.

Mini fundraisers included 2500 de-worming pills for children in Kenya, an accessory auction to benefit St. Jude's Hospital, and vitamins and ibuprophen for children in the Ukraine.

The Heritage Legaue is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and a 501(c)3 organization.
