We are a service based Non profit of which we educate through lectures and hands on seminars on the topics of bullying and violence prevention.
Our lectures for elementary schools are titled: Bully, Victim, or Hero? This is an interactive role play presentation that gives kids positive strategies for dealing with different levels of bullying.
Our presentations for middle school and high school kids is titled: Choices? Sabotage or Success? This takes kids in this age group over the most common situations they may encounter and based on their choice, will they have a positive outcome or a consequence that may impact the rest of their life.
Our presentations for college bound young adults and the working professionals is titled: Be Your Own Hero! which is a hands on training program on how to physically get out of bad situations that happen to good people. These seminars are designed to fit all abilities of those attending.
The founder of Heroes in Action has published a biographical book that chronicles his journey of being a victim of severe bullying throughout his childhood and adolescence and then becoming the bully and ultimately transforming into the man he is today with a focus on becoming your own Hero. He has also written three children's books as aides for parents and elementary school teachers to introduce sensitive topics like bullying and dealing with strangers in a safe manner.
