HHN2L embraces the rhythm of transformation through self-expression and self-actualization. It uses the powerful language of hip hop to engage youth by inviting them to use what is already internally known to share their intelligence, stories, passions, and dreams to create a better community involvement and positive change. HHN2L cultivates a platform where youth voices are amplified through programming that includes: The Real Young Prodigys Program, which embraces the motto of “Lyrics 2 Action”, a partnership with the award-winning Louisville Orchestra that provides students the opportunity to rap with the Louisville Orchestra through their RAP School Program and our TRAP (Teaching Respect About our Planet) Camp, which provides students an opportunity to step away from the “TRAP” in many of their neighborhoods, connect to themselves and others, learn about nature, and write and record songs in nature. We also provide free access to mental health services, restorative- justice opportunities when students have conflict or leave the program, and opportunities to travel to Ivy-League colleges along with partnerships with top-tier music engineers and mentors.

HHN2L was founded to provide African American youth and young adults a platform to use hip hop, music videos, and travel to make positive changes locally, state-wide,  federally, and globally.  HHN2L has mentored over  130+ students and 50+ TRYP members by providing them with opportunities using the 9 Elements of Hip Hop
