Hidden Acres Therapeutic Riding Center

Hidden Acres offers equine-assisted services that provide essential, life-changing programs to participants with developmental, emotional, intellectual, physical, and mental health challenges. 

Our 81-acre family farm, 11 therapy horses, certified staff, and caring volunteers offer a special place to nurture the mind, body, and spirit of people ages 3-101 through therapeutic riding, equine assisted learning, group wellness programs, and nature itself. So many of our participants comment on how the moment they arrive on the farm and their feet hit the ground, the healing begins, and their stress level decreases, providing the opportunity to be their authentic self. While all participants experience is unique, the most common benefits include decreased PTSD
symptoms, depression social anxiety and isolation; increased problem-solving, resiliency, increase self-awareness & self-esteem, mental agility and alertness, empathy, self-regulation, satisfying
interpersonal relationships, self-acceptance, energy and
resilience, social connections, improved mood, physical strength and balance.
