Hill Country Arts Foundation

The mission of HCAF is to provide a center for the arts that promotes education and community involvement in the arts and the goal of the organization is to provide quality art experiences for our community. The Hill Country Arts Foundation is recognized throughout the state as a leader in arts education. HCAF provides youth programs to children across genders, race and socio-economic circumstances with programs that expand children's access to the arts.

HCAF is seeking funds to offer continual arts programming, in both theater and fine arts, throughout the normal school year. We are proposing to offer up to 12 weeks of study that will follow the strategy of the summer camps we now offer. Week long art or theater classes, ending with a performance or an art exhibit.

Art education is a proven factor in strengthening families and in turn, the community at large. End of camp art exhibits and theater performances for students brings in a large number of visitors. Extended families and the public at large come to participate.
