May is dedicated to celebrating teachers, the people who impact
hundreds of thousands of kids in our community every day. 

Beginning April 17 and lasting through Give Day Tampa Bay on May 1, please consider making a gift in honor of your favorite teacher, and share a story in the comments section and on social media about how he or she impacted you (don't forget to use #ThankATeacher). About Us

For 30 years, the Hillsborough Education Foundation has provided
educational resources and financial assistance to help give every Hillsborough County Public School student the opportunity to achieve personal success.
Regardless of background, family structure or economic status, the HEF believes every student can reach his or her potential through public education.

The Foundation works in partnership with the community to bring critical
resources that are not funded by normal tax revenues to help students
succeed through scholarships, mentoring, free school supplies, 
school/classroom project funding and recognition for education professionals. 

The Foundation is recognized as a four-star organization by Charity
Navigator, America's premier independent charity evaluator. This indicates that HEF adheres to good governance and best practices to execute its
mission in a fiscally responsible way.
