His Church International Christian Center

Your continued support helps to sustain and expand our capabilities as we are seeking to improve our community programs, social services, and outreach ministries while augmenting the fleet of volunteers we have with the staffing required to accomplish our expansion goals. The name of our organization is His Church International Christian Center. The meaning of our name is taken from the New Testament passage in Matthew 16:18 where Jesus establishes that He is the builder of His Church.

Therefore, it is our aim to please the Head of the Church in all that we do to build people and change lives, provide illumination in a dark world, bring healing and comfort to the hurting, help every person to find their purpose in life, and help every person to know the freedom and love found in Christ. His Church is on a mission to see “Real Change” experienced in the lives of people – change brought about through the undeniable power of God. Sponsoring and Facilitating Community Events: 

Octoberfest – A FREE Event and safe alternative to trick or treating on Halloween, creating a festive atmosphere where fun games and candy can be enjoyed by children of all ages.

The Big Egg Hunt – A FREE Easter event held for the community where over 10,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes are given away to children of all ages.

Megafest – A FREE community summer-fest with food, live music, and outdoor games for the enjoyment of all who enjoy safe and family-conducive environments.

Explosion-Blowout Community Market – We create marketplace events that connect local businesses with the citizens in the community, providing exposure, support, and encouragement to the entrepreneurial spirit, and fostering economic vitality in our region.

Our community events provide volunteer opportunities to middle school and high school youth. As we teach them to serve their communities with positivity and generosity, we certify their contributions by providing them needed credit hours for their community service graduation requirements.

Monthly Visitations: We provide fellowship and life enriching activities and gifts for the often forgotten and elderly in our local nursing homes which include giving manicures, playing games like bingo, singing performances like Christmas caroling, and providing care packages. We celebrate birthdays, providing treats and sharing meals with the downtrodden in our homeless shelters. The encouragement we provide has helped many come out of the shelter life, and some have even joined our organization and are helping us minister to the community. We honor and celebrate our local firefighters and police officers, delivering monthly care packages to them.

Acts of Generosity: We adopt local schools, providing financially challenged families with items such as bedding, Christmas gifts, clothes, school supplies, and food. We support local foster care organizations, providing school supplies, Christmas toys, food, and clothing. We partner with organizations such as Fairfax County-4-Kids, providing venues for foster parents to integrate the children into our community events. We support local hospitals, providing items such as handmade crocheted hats to newborns. We provide seasonal backpacks full of school supplies to those in need.

• Ministering to the unique needs of this select group of individuals that help keep our nation safe
