The History Project: Documenting LGBTQ Boston

The mission of The History Project is to document and preserve the history of Boston’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) communities and to share that history with LGBTQ individuals, organizations, allies, and the public.

Since 1980, The History Project has preserved almost 200 collections, documenting the lives and experiences of our community in New England.
