Margo Chevers wears star jewelry every day to remind herself that she is the star of this show called life and if she doesn’t like the story she is living, she can rewrite the script.

When Margo received custody of her two grandchildren, she needed support. As a single woman, she struggled to find the various state services to help.  So, off to the statehouse she marched and served on a committee to streamline access to these kinds of services.

Currently, Grandparents in the Know - a support group for grandparents and others raising kin, meets twice a month at Hitchcock.
