Holderness School

Mission

Holderness School is devoted to encourage academic distinction, to promote personal health and well-being, to encourage a sense of responsibility for others and respect for the dignity of all individuals. In addition, the school seeks to have students examine their spiritual needs and heritage, to instill the values of honesty, integrity, charity, responsibility, sacrifice and respect, and to build the confidence to take risks, the strength to overcome setbacks and the judgement to value independence and self-reliance.

Programs

Academics - traditional focus on education in grades 9-12. Athletics - competitive sports program including alpine ski racing, nordic ski racing, football, soccer, ice hockey and baseball. Special programs - Artward Bound, Habitat for Humanity, Outback, and Senior Colloquiem.
