Welcome to The Holistic Homestead! 

We are a membership based & volunteer powered nonprofit dedicated to improving health and wellness in rural Colorado! Our #1 passion is helping our community eat better by providing access to fresh healthy food. In fact, WE ARE THE ONLY GROCERY STORE IN GILPIN COUNTY! 

We accept EBT/SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks, we have a Community Food Share program (best deal on fresh, local produce year-round!) supporting over 15 small local farms, a Pay-What-You-Can Farm to Table Cafe serving over 1300 meals annually, AND we founded and continue to run the Gilpin County Farmers Market uplifting the local economy and supporting small businesses! 

WE NEED YOUR HELP to continue going and growing, and in 2024 we are focussed on improving our dedicated vegetarian Pay-What-You-Can Farm to Table Cafe including adding breakfast burritos, grab-and-go deli items, expanding our curbside and delivery ordering options, and updating our kitchen equipment.
