Hollyjean's Hope Cat Spaying

We were formed to help the feral cats of Ravenna, Nebraska. We use the "trap, neuter, release" method that is being used nationwide to reduce the number of kittens born to feral mothers.

This non-profit was formed in July 2012 to help the feral cats of Ravenna, Nebraska. We trap the cats with a live trap, take them to a veterinarian to be spayed or neutered, and receive their vaccinations. Then, they are brought back to their outdoor homes and released. Someone feeds them twice a day. In this manner, we reduce the number of kittens born to feral mothers. We love kittens but realize that feral cats have a difficult life, and it is best to limit the number of kittens born each year.

Testimonials

In Spring 2023, a kind man agreed to let eight cats come to his farm home when their owner died. When winter came, he bought them heated mats that were put inside plastic totes to keep them warm.
