Thank you for supporting our work in the community!  Holyoke*Chicopee*Springfield Head Start, Inc. is committed to providing low-income children and their families with a BEACON OF HOPE and source of support for a brighter future.  We strive to do so by providing high quality comprehensive child development services to enrolled children and empowering families to achieve stability in their home environment.

EDUCATING Children
We promote school readiness by enhancing children's social and cognitive development, through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services.

SUPPORTING Families
Our services for eligible adults and families include health and nutrition programs, mental health programs, parenting programs, relationship programs, and financial education programs.

BUILDING Healthy Communities
We support the health and education of families and children of our communities through our comprehensive programs, and in partnership with other area service providers.

Every child deserves the opportunity for success in both school and in their lives. Since 1965, HCS has made this its focus and mission; providing annually over 1,200 at-risk children in 15 cities and towns throughout the Pioneer Valley, as well as their families, with the skills, support and guidance needed to ensure healthy development.

And we will continue to be there in the years to come-meeting the ever-evolving needs of at-risk children living in low income families. But it's a challenge we cannot address alone.
