Our rescue was formed 4 years ago by a small group of individuals that felt they could make a difference in the lives of the dogs and cats in need in Maricopa County. We came together with a mission and have worked hard to build our organization while never taking our eye off the main mission of helping animals in need.

We have a soft spot in our hearts for sick and/or senior dogs and cats. We know that with a little medication, or in some cases surgery, these animals may live healthy loving lives. In the case of seniors, we just can't accept that an animal who has lived his/her entire life in a home with love and comfort should now end their life on the cold cement floor of the County shelter.

We are always seeking new volunteers who are positive, animal lovers and not afraid to roll up their sleves and work hard for these loving and deserving unconditional rescues.

We are proud to say that in our 4 years, we have NEVER put an animal down due to the length of time they have been with us. Once we rescue an animal, we make a life time committment to them. This means we care for them until they are adopted, and should the adoption not work out for ANY reason, we welcome them back and start over. We are a Ture No Kill Shelter, as we have also NEVER put an animal down for behavior.

We are focused on Quality of life, not interested in competing in a numbers game. Each animal we save is a victory and means the world to that particular animal. 

We believe that each time we adopt out a dog or cat, we have saved TWO lives; the adoptee and the new rescue we can now go to County to pull in!
