Homeless at the End

How we treat people at the end defines our values. Yet, most cities lack programs for terminally ill people who are experiencing homelessness. Each year, thousands of people suffer from advancing disease and eventually die on the streets.  

Homeless at the End is dedicated to ending needless suffering and death on the streets by mobilizing U.S. communities to create end-of-life care programs for people experiencing homelessness. Drawing on their experience launching The INN Between, the country’s largest hospice program for people experiencing homelessness, Homeless at the End works to: 

1) raise awareness of the tragic circumstances that terminally ill people endure on the streets, 

2) share stories that build empathy and inspire action, and 

3) provide tailored resources and coaching to help communities create effective and sustainable programs.

Homelessness does not erase humanity. With your help, we can ensure that people across Utah who are homeless and terminally ill have the safe housing, emotional support, compassionate hospice care, and dignity we all deserve at the end of life.
