Homeward Vets Inc

Homeward Vets, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps to provide home furnishings to previously homeless veterans and their families who are transitioning into permanent housing.We rely solely on private / commercial monetary contributions and donations of furniture to help us succeed in this mission. We deliver all of the furniture without any cost to the veteran. We are not funded in any part by the government and all donations are tax-deductible to the furthest extent of the law.

The veterans we serve have been chronically homeless and range from single men/women to families with children. Being able to find a place to call “home” is a huge accomplishment in it’s own, but in most all cases, the veterans are only given the keys to an empty apartment, without even the basic necessities. We are also beginning to provide food assistance to those moving in.

Homeward Vets, Inc. is working with referrals from Veterans Affairs, Department of Veterans Services, Soldier On and Veterans Inc.  We will service those, along with the many other homeless veterans throughout Massachusetts.

Thanks to the many dedicated supporters of our organization we have been able to assist 200 veterans in Massachusetts since March 2012.
