Honor Flight of West Central Florida

The Honor Flight of West Central Florida, an all-volunteer organization, relies on the dedication and kindness of volunteers to accomplish its mission: flying Veterans to Washington D.C. at NO CHARGE to see the memorials dedicated in their honor.  This trip is an emotional time for these Veterans receiving the recognition that they so deserve.  Since inception in 2010, we have completed 40 Missions/Flights having flown over 3,100 Veterans to Washington D.C. We have also honored over 400 Veterans at our Honor Flight at Home programs.  To reach out to the area's Veterans, we have successfully grown our Speakers Bureau providing many presentations throughout the Tampa Bay area. To meet the financial goals, we have provided information to area corporations, American Legions, VFW's and other civic organizations.  The Honor Flight of West Central Florida Board of Directors along with its volunteers is committed to pay tribute to all our Veterans, show them the Memorials built in their honor and give them the "Welcome Home" most of them never received.  With an estimated 32,000 War-era Veterans living in the West Central Florida area, we have a huge challenge. We need the continued support from grateful Americans like yourselves.
