Hope & Home foster homes are highly screened and selected for their loving nature and willingness to adopt the children in their care should the need arise.  Our families are dedicated to taking great care of these children who are recovering from trauma, injuries and other effects of abuse and neglect and exposure to drugs.

Our community of foster families, children, staff and donors work together to provide the best possible foster care experience for the children.  Respect, grace, education, safety and unconditional love are key components to how and why our "missional" model of foster care works so well.   The kids arrive scared, depressed, lacking confidence or trust in themselves and others and within a matter of days they start to show signs of God's light again.  It is an amazing transformation and a blessing to be part of.  We are chosen to be His hands, His heart and His eyes in caring for His children and realize the enormous responsibility that we have been given.  We are great stewards of His children as well as our donor's money.

We have a 100% adoption permanency rate compared to the state average of just 19%.  We are the number one provider for foster care in El Paso County here in Colorado with an operating budget of $1.8 million.  We have been a member of the ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) since 2006, with more than 22% of our operating budget revenues coming from fundraising through individual, grant and foundation donations.

Hope & Home qualifies for the Colorado Child Care Tax Credit and donations of $500 and above will receive an additional 50% state tax credit for all donations made by residents filing in the state of Colorado.  (Reference House Bill 1119 for details.)

Our Executive Director, Ross Wright, who has more than 30 years of experience in child welfare, is the author of a parenting book, "Kids in Crisis" (B&H Publishing, 2007) and is an expert in grace-based, teleology-inpired parenting which focuses on the amazing design that God has created in every child.  Using a special parenting model designed by Ross Wright and called Love to Nurture, we focus on helping each child realize what amazing gifts and talents God has designed in them. All of our parents are exceptionally trained in this parenting style, which is required in our program.  We don't have a family that we wouldn't leave our own kids with.

Please help us continue the great work we do for the Kingdom.  Abused and neglected children who need safety are counting on us.

Thank you for the generosity you show others in His name.
