Hope Hall

Hope Hall is a private, non-profit, non sectarian school with a unique approach to learning for students in grades 3-12 who have learning challenges. The students we serve experience frustration and failure in the traditional classroom. They have barriers to learning, including ADD/ADHD, mild anxiety disorders, forms of Autism, a low-average IQ, and Auditory Processing delays.  Before coming to Hope Hall, they often experienced heart-breaking bullying. 

At Hope Hall we believe that, given enough time and the right environment, all students can learn. Our unique, holistic approach to learning has been helping students succeed in the classroom and beyond for 28 years. We consistently have a 100% graduation rate, and 100% of our seniors graduate prepared for a career or college. 

These results are not possible without donor support. Hope Hall does not receive funding from school districts, and, since 87% of our children live in poverty, tuition revenue is limited. Donors are vital to our ability to ensure that any child who can benefit from our unique education model can access our programs, regardless of their family's ability to pay.

Our Community Thrives campaign is focused on our Athletic Program and the impact youth sports has on students and the community as a whole. 

Hope Hall’s sports program is different from other programs in many ways: 

• We have a no-cut program meaning any student who wants to play a sport can and will play. 
• The students, not the teachers and coaches, get to choose the intramural sports that are played.
• Hope Hall takes sports beyond the physical skill development and focuses on character development. Winning a game is great, but working as a team, making the teams we are playing feel welcomed, and having FUN are far more important.
