Hope Harbor is a non-profit crisis counseling center that provides one-of-a-kind services to victims of sexual assault and their families and friends.
At the request of the victim, a Hope Harbor legal advocate will educate the victim about the legal system, accompany the victim to the trial and/or any legal meeting with law enforcement officials, attorneys, etc.
Programs are available for schools, churches, businesses, civic organizations, and others. Programs are appropriate for pre-school age and up. Topics include: body safety, self-esteem, sexual harassment, dating violence, rape awareness, risk reduction, internet safety, and recognizing child sexual abuse for parents and teachers.
With the help of counseling, a victim has the opportunity to become a survivor. Counseling sessions are strictly confidential and tailored to each individual.
