Hope Lives Here: Healing Heroes, Two At A Time

Returning to civilian life can be one of the hardest battles a Veteran will ever face. Too often, the resources available simply aren’t enough. That’s where Hope Lives Here steps in.

We train service dogs for disabled Veterans living with post-traumatic stress (PTS), traumatic brain injury (TBI), military sexual trauma (MST), and or chronic pain. What makes our program unique is that we rescue dogs from local shelters, pair them with a Veteran, and train them together—creating a partnership built on trust, purpose, and unconditional support.

A Hope Lives Here service dog isn’t just a companion; they’re a lifeline. They help Veterans navigate everyday stressors, regain confidence, and reconnect with the world—proving the true meaning of “I got your six.”

Each Veteran and service dog team represents an average investment of $19,843.84, a cost not covered by insurance. Yet through your generosity, our Veterans never pay a dime.

When our Veterans come home after fighting for us, we make it our mission to fight for them.

Who We Are

Hope Lives Here provides service dogs for veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress (PTS), traumatic brain injury (TBI), military sexual trauma (MST) and or chronic pain disorders. Service dogs are very expensive, with fees ranging from $15,000-$75,000. Unfortunately, insurance companies do not cover this cost. Through our program, eligible veterans are not obligated to pay a penny.
