Hope Esperanza

A nonprofit organization

To empower minority and underserved youth and families to enhance health, overcome hardship, and promote an overall sense of belonging and well-being. To facilitate a welcoming and inclusive community that appreciates and values human difference and creates a sense of belonging where everyone feels respected and valued for their uniqueness. To build a community that is welcoming, culturally aware and competent as Lincoln County diversifies.

HOPE-Esperanza is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to empowering minority and underserved communities in Lincoln County. Our mission is to enhance health, overcome hardship, and promote a sense of belonging. We focus on creating a culturally aware and inclusive community through our Seven Pillars of HOPE: Direct Services, Welcoming Work, Building HOPE in Community, Cultural Pillar, Health Pillar, Immigration Pillar, and Youth Board. Our initiatives address food insecurity, provide language access, and celebrate diversity through events like the International Bazaar and Cinco de Mayo. We facilitate community meetings and mobilize partnerships to enhance community well-being and offer Spanish/English classes to promote communication and access to services. We bridge gaps in services and break down barriers by offering language access (interpretation/translation services), transportation and 'thinking out side the box' solutions. As Lincoln County diversifies, we adapt our programs to meet evolving needs, ensuring that all residents have the resources to thrive. By embracing diversity and inclusivity, HOPE-Esperanza is building a resilient community where everyone can succeed.
