Hope Ministries of McKeesport, Inc.

To be a compassionate and loving presence to those in need in the McKeesport area, offering a Christ-centered ministry of food, fellowship and resources that provide an outreach of hope in McKeesport.

Hope Ministries of McKeesport is the successor agency to Intersection, a non-profit in McKeesport ending their five decades of service in 2024. Formerly known as the 9th Street Community Kitchen, Intersection chose us as their successor, donating their building at 115th 7th Street in McKeesport and providing seed money so that we could seamlessly continue the services they had provided. Opening our doors as Hope Ministries of McKeesport in 2025, we have continued their services and have developed plans for expansion. We fall in the critical needs categories of Food, Rent and Utilities with 30% of McKeesport residents having income below the poverty level. We serve prepared meals, provide a Food Pantry, and deliver to those disabled and elderly in our community. We also offer support with rent and utilities assistance and financial mentoring program.
