Hope Community Services has been serving children and families since 1986!

Hope Community Services (HCS) started in 1986 providing emergency shelter services for children who had been neglected, abused, or abandoned.

Today, HCS serves the community through our child welfare and programs and behavioral health programs. We are now among the nation’s premier trauma-informed care providers - awarded accreditation as a certified Sanctuary® agency.

Our Impact

Why Hope Community Services Exists…

HCS serves foster children and children that are considered "low income" through our child welfare and behavioral health programs. These are children who have experienced severe trauma(s) and we take on some of the most complex cases other agencies do not. Our programs include: Supervised Visitation, Nurturing Parenting, General Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Animal Assisted Therapy (including Equine Therapy), and SuRGE (a program for trafficking survivors). 

We count on your support to provide services to children who have been victims of abuse, neglect, abandonment, and/or have experienced extreme trauma. 

All donations to HCS go directly toward our child welfare and behavioral health programs - helping children who have experienced extreme trauma or have been victims of abuse, neglect, or abandonment.

HCS is also a Qualifying Foster Care Charitable Organization (QFCO)! You can donate up to $1,000 (married) or $500 (single) and qualify for the Arizona QFCO tax credit.  Also, Included within the $2 trillion economic relief bill is a new above-the-line charitable tax deduction. (Learn more on our website)
