Who We Are

Hope's Corner is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves nutritious meals and provides hot showers to unhoused, low-income, and vulnerable individuals from Mountain View and surrounding communities who are struggling to get by. We do this from our location at the corner of Hope and Mercy Streets in Mountain View, California.

We run on volunteers and have had over 800 individual volunteers so far in 2022! Our dedicated volunteers include individuals and families as well as youth and adults from various service organizations, faith communities, and businesses. Thanks to our volunteers, we're able to do a lot with a little

What We Do

  • Hope's Corner is the only program in the Mountain View/Los Altos/Sunnyvale area that provides free hot meals for the hungry on Saturdays.
  • We provide about 3000 free healthy meals every month to people of all ages. Most are provided onsite on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays; however, we also deliver meals offsite to RV residents in Mountain View and provide meals to the Day Worker Center of Mountain View. Since our first breakfast in 2011, we've provided over 160,000 meals.
  • We provide about 180+ free showers to unhoused adults every month on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. We offer each shower guest new undergarments and socks too.
  • We use our laundry to wash of our shower guests' clothes. The laundry operates the same days and times as the showers so that our shower guests can often have their clothes laundered during their shower.
  • We collaborate with other organizations and businesses to provide onsite hair cuts, flu shots, health checks, and case management.
  • We provide a place where those in need are treated with dignity and respect, giving them hope for a better future. All are welcome – no one is turned away.
