At Horizons at The Episcopal Academy, we see what’s possible when students are given the opportunity, support, and space to thrive.

Our Kindergarten through 9th Grade students arrive each summer curious, capable, and full of potential. Through strong relationships, consistent support, and high-quality programming, that potential is nurtured and expanded—year after year.

Horizons is a community. One built on partnership with students, families, and schools in West Philadelphia and Lansdowne. Together, we create a place where students feel known, supported, and inspired to grow—not just academically, but socially, emotionally, and physically.

What makes Horizons unique is our long-term commitment. We walk alongside students from Kindergarten through high school, building trust and creating continuity that leads to real impact. In our classrooms, small group learning ensures every student’s voice is heard. Across our program, students experience a blend of literacy, STEAM, enrichment, swimming, and hands-on learning that expands what they see as possible for their future.

And the results are real. Over the past three years, our students have averaged more than 14 weeks of growth in math and literacy during just a six-week summer program. Just as importantly, they show up—because they feel a sense of belonging here.

Horizons is, and will always be, 100% tuition-free for families. While we are proud to partner with The Episcopal Academy as our fiscal sponsor and to utilize their campus, our program is independently operated and fully funded through the generosity of donors, foundations, and community supporters.
