Horizons at The University of Mississippi

Horizons at the University of Mississippi is a key initiative in the mission of the McLean Institute for Public Service and Community Engagement to fight poverty through education. Horizons provides students from the Oxford and Lafayette School Districts with a dynamic summer learning experience on the University of Mississippi campus. Instead of falling behind during the summer, our students experience new opportunities and learn from a tremendous teaching staff. Throughout the summer Horizons students improve their reading skills, engage in hands-on projects, take educational field trips, and learn to swim. Horizons at the University of Mississippi is a true community program, serving students who otherwise wouldn't have opportunities during the summer.
