Imagine facing the end of your life with the added burden of eviction or being unable to afford basic necessities like heating or electricity. This is the harsh reality for many hospice patients in our state. In 2023, over 7,300 Granite Staters received hospice care. Many had emptied their bank accounts fighting terminal illnesses, leaving them without financial resources in their final days.

That's where Hospice Help Foundation comes in. We fund essential items that boost comfort, dignity, and joy so that hospice patients can live every day to the fullest. With recent increases in heating and housing costs, many Granite Staters are struggling more than ever, and resources to help hospice patients afford these essentials are in short supply.

We urgently need your help to meet the growing demand for our support. Your gift during NH Gives will:

  • Provide rent, utilities, food, small appliances, and household repairs, allowing patients to remain in the comfort of their homes.

  • Cover the cost of transportation to bring families together, creating precious memories.

  • Spark joy by fulfilling modest wishes, such as a visit to the seaside or a special meal from a favorite restaurant.

  • Cover veterinary bills, keeping beloved pets by their owner's side.

  • Help with the cost of a basic funeral or cremation for those in the most extreme need.

Your gift, no matter the size, will bring comfort and relief to hospice patients, helping them focus on making the most of their time with friends, family, and the things that bring them joy—because that's what hospice is all about.

This year, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors Piscataqua Savings Bank and D.F. Richard, donations up to a total of $1,500 will be matched!

Please donate today and help us bring comfort and dignity to those who need it most. Thank you.

Who We Are

Hospice Help Foundation helps hospice patients who are struggling with poverty and aren't able to afford items that are essential to their comfort and dignity. During this crisis, your support will help purchase groceries for those who don’t have the means to stock up. It will help provide tablets and phones to ensure patients can connect to friends and family remotely. Perhaps most important of all, it will help with rent and mortgage payments so patients can remain safe at home. For every patient served, on average at least five other people are impacted including other family members, caregivers, and the members of the hospice team who are working on the front line to care for their patients.

During this time when so many Americans are struggling, we thank you for helping hospice patients live every remaining day to the fullest. Join the growing movement to help this underserved population by making a donation today. Thank you for you help!
