Mission

Our primary goal is to enhance the quality of remaining life so that those in the last phases of life can live as fully, independently and comfortably as possible. We are also committed to ensuring that no-one mourns uncomforted and thus remain connected with our clients' families for 13 months following the death of their loved ones. Hospice of the Good Shepherd is additionally largely committed to providing education about hospice philosophy and care, and to providing bereavement support to all members of our community.

Programs

Core services include but are not limited to nursing, social work, medical consultation, home health aide, bereavement, spiritual care coordination, assessments, volunteer, community education (including CEU workshops) and training, support groups and speakers bureau.
