Hospice of the Valley, located in Decatur, AL, provides compassionate end-of-life care designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of the patient and family, enabling them to experience life and death with grace and dignity.

As the only non-profit hospice in Lawrence and Morgan Counties in Alabama, Hospice of the Valley provides care to patients based on need rather than ability to pay. Different levels of care are provided to meet the different needs patients and their families require. Hospice of the Valley is the area's only JCAHO accredited hospice.

Hospice of the Valley is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides care and support to any resident of Morgan or Lawrence County in Alabama, who is facing end-of-life care decisions - Hospice Care for those with life-limiting diseases, Supportive Home Care for those struggling with chronic illness, and Grief Support Groups for anyone who has suffered a loss. Hospice of the Valley prides itself in knowing that we take every measure to provide the best possible care through our professional clinical staff and well-trained volunteers. Our clinical team of nurses and home health aides are certified in Hospice and Palliative Care. We hold ourselves to the highest standards through the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
