House of Refuge, Inc

House of Refuge, Inc. provides a home and support services to Arizona families experiencing homelessness. Families who enter our 12-month program are given keys to a home and then are wrapped in services that work in tandem to identify the root cause of homelessness in their lives. Through case management, employment & education support, programming for children and supplemental food/clothing/household goods at our Donation Center, our families can stabilize their lives, reach self-sufficiency and attain stable and sustainable housing. 

About Us: House of Refuge is one of the most unique programs that help the homeless population. We were founded in 1996 and are located on a former U.S. Air Force Base. When Williams Air Force Base was decommissioned, House of Refuge was given a military chapel, an office building, and 88 retired military homes to provide transitional housing to families experiencing homelessness. Now in our 25th year, we've helped over 8,500 individuals and 2,500 families. 

Every day over 250 individuals call House of Refuge home and we are proud to be here to support these families on their journey to self-sufficiency.
