House of Hope Maryland Incorporated

 House of Hope Maryland's mission is to offer hope, healing and solutions for hurting teens by providing a safe, nurturing environment, structured education, Christian counseling and spiritual guidance.

Our vision is to provide a residential home and school for at-risk 13-17 year-old boys and girls.  This "safe haven" will serve as a refuge for teens suffering from the negative influences threatening their lives such as drugs, alcohol, the occult, and/or gangs, as well as sexual, mental, and emotional abuse.  Based on the successful model of the first House of Hope, established in Orlando, Florida, we aim to provide both workable and successful solutions in restoring troubled teens and their families.

House of Hope Maryland's services currently include non-residential Christian counseling for teens, weekly parenting classses and family therapy.  Fees are based on a sliding scale and no one is turned away for lack of funds.  When we secure a property, we will then also offer long-term residential care; on-campus schooling; skill building and extracurricular activiites.

Financial needs are met by relying solely on the support of generous individuals, churches, and organizations with a heart for hurting teens.  House of Hope Maryland accepts no federal, state, or local government aid.
