A warm meal at the end of the day, a roof to keep you dry, a bed to rest your head at night - how easy it is to take all of these simple things for granted.  Every night, there are people right here in our community who find themselves without the simple, basic comforts for survival.  The average age of a homeless person in our community is 7 years old.  They are our neighbors down the street, the members of our church, the regular people like you and me who are struggling, and they need our help to take the first step toward a safer, more secure and productive future.

Housing Opportunities is committed to housing hope by providing a continuum of programs encompassing homeless prevention, crisis intervention, and permanent housing.  We also help individuals on their path to wholeness with specialized counseling and mental health therapy.  

The mission of Housing Opportunities is to provide housing for the homeless, help families keep their home, and coach sustainable lifestyles.  Last year, with your help, we gave a home to 301 adults, and 205 children in our housing programs.  We also saved 196 homes from foreclosure - preventing homelessness and keeping neighborhoods strong.
