Hudson Hospital Foundation

Currently the Hudson Hospital's Birth Center can provide care for babies born at 36 gestational weeks or older. We are raising funds for the enhancement of our neonatal services which will enable Hudson Hospital Birth center to safely care for newborns born moderately sick or prematurely.

The infants we care for are our future. We aim to provide optimal care for patients in the Birth Center and strive to follow best practices for the community. As we look to grow and expand services for moderately premature babies, we know it is crucial for families to stay together. By enhancing what we offer at Hudson Hospital’s Birth Center, fewer babies require transfer to a tertiary facility, parent and infant bonding flourishes, and stress on parents and infants decreases. Whether babies are born healthy or need some attention to unforeseen issues, community support of the Birth Center leads to highly skilled care delivered with compassion and understanding.

UPCOMING EVENTS TO WATCH FOR:

May 15 - Townie Wednesday at Lift Bridge Brewery in New Richmond, 5-9pm. Join us as we raise money by playing games - plus a portion of drink sales come directly to the foundation.

May 16 - Community Healing Garden Grand Opening. The garden is located just east of the emergency department entrance. Ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 2pm, the open house is from 2-4pm. Live music, refreshments and the first 100 guests will get a tree sapling up to 12 inches tall.

June 10 - The 43rd Annual Al Hein Memorial Golf Tournament. Early Birdie specials end soon. Check out our event site: https://auctria.events/alheingolf 

September 14 - Weitkamp Park Play Date. Community-wide family fun event from 10a-12noon. Bring the whole family to the park. We'll have snacks and giveaways!

October 10 - **NEW** Dueling Pianos FUNdraiser: Keys for a Cause. This casual and FUN event will be held at Ready Randy's in New Richmond. A $65 ticket includes dinner and free soda, along with comedy, great music and improv. You will have a great evening of unforgettable fun all while supporting cancer care. Sponsorships are currently available and tickets go on sale this summer. Contact Debi to be on the presale emailing list for tickets and for more information about sponsorship opportunities. These tickets are expected to sell out quickly!
