Housing and Services for Homeless Veterans
Now is the time to share your compassion with your neighbors in need. Your support is urgently needed, and makes an immediate impact in the lives of thousands of children, families and adults right here in the Hudson Valley.
Join our team improving lives and communities. Our vision is that housing will be a basic human right that should be available to all, regardless of income, family makeup, physical or mental health issues, or any other defining factors. Everyone will have access to decent, affordable housing that meets their needs. Communities, including their residents and governing bodies, will value attractive, affordable, and well-designed housing and neighborhoods as essential to everyday life. With your help, this vision can become a reality!
How does Hudson River Housing help? We develop and manage affordable housing, provide housing services and education, and revitalize neighborhoods. We manage over 800 affordable housing units, provide the county’s only walk-in emergency homeless shelter, advocate for better neighborhoods and community services, and more – in fact we run over 25 programs that provide housing and services in the Mid-Hudson Valley.
Our goal is to meet emergency housing needs, but then set individuals and families on a path to self-sufficiency and housing stability. Join us in the fight to provide the dignity of home. Thank you!
